Featuring a digital display screen for ease of setup this multi-function Thermostatic Radiator valve can be used as a standalone unit for each radiator in your central heating system allowing you to set daily timers and temperatures for each room in your house or it can be connected into your home automation system so that you can control it from your smart phone through the Sunricher ZIGBEE gateway (available separately). The valve has many features such as Child lock to prevent accidental adjustment of the settings; it can detect if a window is left open and it has frost protection to prevent your heating system from freezing when nobody is at home and the temperature drops. Note: the Window opening sensor works best when the valve is placed on a radiator situated by a window or door. The Thermostatic Valve is battery powered and requires 2 x AA batteries, these can last up to three years a the power consumption of the Thermostatic Valve is minimal, there are many different settings on the unit that are displayed on the on-board screen or if controlling the Thermostat from your ZIGBEE Application thee can be accessed directly through the application.
