IR switch sensors work by detecting changes in Infrared radiation, or movement. When movement is detected, the lights will automatically switch on or off.

IR door sensor switches are ideal for commercial and domestic applications where they would benefit from motion-activated switching. This may include walls in cupboards, wardrobes or corridors.

This IR sensor has close-up detection of 1-6cm. It is vital that it is installed in a location where it is able to detect movement, such as behind doors.
